Richard (Rick) Fitzgerald is the Technology leader for Ciox. Prior to joining the company, he served as Equian’s Executive Vice President of Technology and Procurement and Chief Information Officer, where he was responsible for all aspects of the organization’s product development, technology operations, and procurement functions.
Prior to joining Equian, Fitzgerald was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for nThrive (formerly MedAssets), a leading revenue cycle management software and services organization. In that role, Fitzgerald oversaw the company’s technology strategy, architecture, operations, and corporate systems. He also led all aspects of the company’s procurement and facilities management.
Previously, Mr. Fitzgerald worked at Bank of America as Senior Vice President, consumer channels infrastructure services and production support. While at Bank of America, he was recognized as Enterprise Inventor of the Year in 2010 and named inventor on thirteen issued patents. From 1998 to 2007, Mr. Fitzgerald held various leadership roles within the General Electric Company. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Process Improvement expert and graduated from the GE Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP). He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Marquette University and a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University.
