Before joining Ciox, Hoil spent nine years at GT Advanced Technologies, the leading global provider of polysilicon and silicon crystallization technology for the solar industry, where he served as Chief Administrative Officer, Vice President and General Counsel. During his time at GT, in addition to serving as the lead legal advisor to the company and its board of directors, he managed the company’s intellectual property portfolio, led the negotiation of technology development and licensing arrangements with global partners, and supervised the human resources, investor relations, and marketing communications teams.
Hoil received a B.S. degree in Engineering and Applied Science from Yale University and a law degree from Georgetown University. He also attended the graduate school of engineering at George Washington University and completed coursework in business leadership at Harvard Business School and University of Oxford.
