Ciox Health’s Chief Privacy Officer Elizabeth Delahoussaye named president-elect for Tennessee Health Information Management Association (THIMA)

San Francisco, CA – July 18, 2023 – Ciox Health, a Datavant company, is proud to announce that members of the Tennessee Health Information Management Association (THIMA) elected Ciox Health’s Chief Privacy Officer Elizabeth A. Delahoussaye, RHIA, CHPS, as president-elect of the 2023 Board of Directors. Her one-year term began on July 1 and this will be her second time serving in this role. Elizabeth currently holds the position of Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer at Ciox, a leading provider of health data exchange, connectivity, and health information management solutions. With her extensive industry experience and expertise, she has made valuable contributions to the field, earning her a well-respected reputation among her peers and has repeatedly shared her knowledge through numerous thought leadership opportunities.

Prior to her recent election, Elizabeth has played pivotal roles in several influential organizations. She served on the Board of Directors for the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), assuming the esteemed position of Speaker of the House of Delegates in 2016. Additionally, she represented THIMA on the AHIMA House of Delegates and held the esteemed titles of President-Elect and President for THIMA from 2008 to 2010.

Throughout her career, Elizabeth has been actively involved in national committees within AHIMA. Her notable roles include co-chairing the AHIMA ROI Toolkit in 2013, serving on the AHIMA Annual Program Committee in 2014 and 2015, and contributing to AHIMA’s Privacy and Security Council from 2017 to 2019. Her dedication and outstanding contributions to the healthcare industry have been recognized through numerous accolades, including the prestigious THIMA Distinguished Member Award in 2013.

Elizabeth’s outstanding achievements were acknowledged in 2022 when she was included in Becker’s Hospital Review’s distinguished lists: “Women in Health IT to Watch in 2022,” “2022 Women Power Players in Health IT, and “Women in Health IT to Know” in 2023.” These accolades further underscore her pioneering spirit and visionary approach within the healthcare technology landscape.
